And it seems that Christmas season is when the retail market just goes berserk.

They save the biggest deals, the flashiest promos, the most eye-catching innovations, for Christmas season.

So how does a business break through all this noise?

By making me, the consumer, happy.

By helping me connect with loved ones. Like my Mom. Or other tribe members. Like my office-mates, or soccer team.

Be authentic: You don’t have to be as funny or clever as JibJab.

And don’t have a profit motivation, either.

Connect your tribe with their loved ones, and with other tribe members.
